This has to be the worse year of boxing I can honestly remember. Boxing actually might be dying out in America.

The sport I used to live and die for, for almost two decades, is now an afterthought for me - and I'm doing everything I can to try and resist that, but with the state of things it's all but impossible. Boxing is dying and it breaks my heart. I'll never completely give up on the sport but the future looks extremely bleak.

It gets harder and harder to say I'm a boxing fan. We don't get nearly enough good fights to balance out the bull****. The sport is a joke in so many ways and has been for a long time, but there is not enough good to distract from it anymore, and seemingly less good with every day. There is so little to get excited about anymore, and almost nothing with any real mainstream significance.
I can't imagine ever stopping following boxing, but the sport is just awful. It's not even a sport now.Last edited by bojangles1987; 07-09-2016, 06:16 PM.

UFC 200 card is stacked!!! When was the last time we saw that in boxing? It's digging its own grave and it has no one to blame but itself.

You have to admit we the fans are also what's wrong with boxing. We pay for PPVs which most of the time only have 1 good fight on paper and it's the main event. We defend fights and shit on others for the same reason.

I've basically been bored with boxing since Round 12 of Chavez vs Martinez. Excitement peaked there, and it's been all downhill since then.
