GTFOH, its the same thing. And floyd was only out a year and a half. But Floyd was still more of a fresh and prime younger fighter than GGG is now. So just stop it now.
I dont like this GGG fight just as much as i didnt like the Floyd-Marquez.Comment

that's what happens in the 11th hour of negotiations with 2 months left to make a fight. not a good fight at all, very little to no credit will be given from me but after trying to do a Canelo fight, BJS fight and Eubank fight with no success... i will come to terms with this fight.Comment

Whatever hater, You brought up Floyd for no reason other than to take a pop. I clearly pointed out the huge differences.
Why not point out Duran jumping two weight classes to beat Sugar Ray Leonard??Comment

Did you read the thread headlines? It asks if Brook is a good win for GGG.
My response was its about as good of a win for GGG as Marquez is for Floyd?
So why you being the hater.
Dont act like one fight is good for you but another isnt, when both are the same.Comment

Floyd's win against Marquez is a splendid display of boxing against a true master that went on to prove his worth at the weight twice over, that you haters dismiss. My only problem with this fight is GGG's hypocrisy. First it was anyone 154-168. Then turns down Ward. Won't fight Canelo at 155 but admits he would fight Floyd at 154 and now brings Brook up from 147. I don't have a problem with the fight at all. I'll be supporting Brook as always.Comment

Let's not forget, Floyd Mayweather's best win is over a faded former flyweight champion (actually started at straw weight) who moved all the way up to welterweight, namely Manny Pacquiao
He often fought opponents from smaller divisions (Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, etc)
Bernard Hopkins fought the much smaller former lightweight De La Hoya and former welterweight Trinidad, and those were regarded as good wins.Comment
