The lack of a catch-weight makes it less competitive, but more legitimate. Say what you want about GGG, but at least Brook isn't *****-footing and disrespecting the division by asking for a catch-weight. He's taking the risk wholeheartedly and jumping into the deep end.

Maxi let's be real. GGG does no wrong in your eyes. Let's just cut the bull**** because we already know what your stance will be.

Huge GGG fan, but this is pure ****. I get it, they want the money fight and the exposure over in the UK. Why not ask for DeGale instead though? Props to Brook, but seriously ****ing annoyed with this fight.

There won't have a fight night weight. There never is for fights outside the US.

GGG, his fanboys, and his team are pathetic ****s. Just another hype job fighting cans and smaller guys for a paycheck. The middleweight division is trash atm and this guy stoops even lower fighting a guy 2 full weight divisions below after his team clowned Canelo for doing the same shit. The same clowns that said Floyd was cherry picking when he fought champs and top rated guys are the same ****s that defend this hype job bum fighter.

Why not Degale, well probably because there's actually a chance the hype job can lose. They'd rather fight smaller guys or bums for a paycheck. Everybody 154-168lbs doe.

DeGale would mean having to negotiate with Haymon, and DeGale/Jack was supposed to happen in the fall.

It's a crap fight but an easy decision.. everyone else didn't want it basically. Only one who 'kinda' wanted it was Lara... who wanted to get paid and again, would need negotiating with Haymon.

Mayweather vs Marquez was worse than this. Were you so offended by that? All top dogs in Mw avoided Golovkin.

I could be wrong, but from what i gather from statements by DeGale and Hearn. Is that Haymon is'nt really involved if DeGale fights in the UK. I'm sure he gets his piece being DeGale's manager, but negotiations etc are up to Hearn. DeGale has expressed interest in the fight as well. I don't know for sure, but seriously ****ing bummed out by this fight.

#6 Welterweight vs #1 Jr. Middleweight for Middleweight title at catchweight. No precedent for that friend.

Fuq catchweight says Brook and Golokvin, we doing it at 160lbs like fighters of yesterday.

This is a legit comparable to Leonard vs Hagler, unlike that fraud comparison of Canelo vs Khan.
