Deontay should be the face of boxing

Think about it. Boxing is in a huge decline.

The biggest stars are Canelo and GGG and those guys are not crossover material.

    Here we have Wilder

6'7" fast talking brutal ko machine with the speed and eloquence of a prime Ali and the ferocity and brutality of a prime tyson.

Wilder should be on CBS prime time Saturday night. Network television to over 500 million houses stateside.

These fights should be events featuring top recording artists and pyrotechnics. There should be interviews with a listers

This is how to bring boxing back from the brink.

And with trump and Hilary doing damage. Maybe this is what America needs.

    An everyman to get behind

If he should be the face of boxing then he would be the face of boxing. He clearly is not the face of boxing or even close to it because as of now he has done nothing in the ring to deserve such an honer. His best win is over Stiverne who is nothing special and he failed to knock Stiverne down or out. All the rest of his many KO wins have been over very average fighters. All of his title defenses have been against boxers who weren't even close to being rated in the top 10. If and when he fights Fury and Joshua and beats them he will get the respect that you think he should get right now without earning it.
