      Giving Vargas a soft touch before a rematch with Salido is fair, but considering his style I believe it would make more sense to rest and not fight until January/February in an immediate rematch with Salido. In that time both fighters can refresh and not risk any stumbles leading to the rematch.

      That would put Vargas in potentially back to back to back wars, but Vargas v Salido I was so razor-close it only makes sense to run it back before either fighter "loses" a step.

        Possibly Vargas just thinking added 2 the wars that Salido already has been involved with may take a little additional out of him before Francisco fights him...

          Francisco "tainted meat" Vargas does need a soft touch if not all the wear and tear will show up quick
