I am picking Postol to win by KO. I think Matthysse hits harder and takes a punch better than Crawford. Postol is a quick, accurate sharp shooter. He should be able to hit Crawford clean and often when Crawford is on the attack. It could go either way and it's a great fight between probably the two best 140 pounders fighting today.

I dont know why people compare Mathysse with Crawford...Crawford is bigger, taller than Mathysse, and in term of skills, they can't even compare. Mathysse ever only had the puncher chance, while Crawford is already a two division weight champ and a top 10 p4p fighter.

I got Crawford. Think he's gonna outbox Postol.

I like both of these guys. I am still leaning towards Crawford by close decision. The referee could play a role in this fight, as both guys use some illegal tactics.

No one compares Crawford with Matthysse. You're probably the only one.

I'll ask the same question again I posted in another thread. Any back story on why Crawford skipped Matthysse?

Good thing is we don't have to speculate anymore. We'll soon see who is the better fighter. Fantasy wins don't apply here.

GBP was steering Matthysse in a different direction. He didn't skip Matthysse. Crawford won the WBO title in March 2014. Matthysse beat Molina that same month for the WBC continetal belt then fought Roberto Ortiz in Sept for the WBC silver title belts.

He was given the Provo fight in an eliminator for the #2 wbc ranking and a WBC title fight with Postol who was the #1 WBC contender.
