Khan was winning some rounds,,, it wasn't his level of speed that beat him, it's that he is chinny and was fighting a much bigger puncher

He was besting Canelo in the first couple rounds by utilizing speed and footwork. The investment Canelo made in bodyshots paid off again for him though. Kahn couldn't sustain what he was doing (damage to your midsection does that) and opened him up for the ko punch.
Kahn did a lot right and Hunter's gameplan was brilliant. Canelo is just a damn good fighter.

This exactly. Khan WAS landing in the first two rounds. 3rd round was close but thought Khan could have edged it. 4th and 5th Canelos body work was slowing Khan down and Khans punches werent landing. It would have been 3-3 after 6 if Khan made it out of the round, with Canelo gaining momentum.

Speed means fuck all if you don't have certain fundamentals

You know this already OP, so why make your 298825825828th thread about Khan? Did he hurt you on a deeply personal level in some way?

I had Khan up 4-1, but the 5th round was really the most telling of all the rounds. Khan is fast, but good fighters read that and take it away by countering hard, precise shots.

As soon as those body shots started landing by Canelo, I knew the end was near.

Khan was very fast but Canelo was almost as fast with better accuracy, power and timing. Every one can score the fight for themselves. If they think Khan won every round then that's how they score the fight. I had Canelo way ahead at the time of the KO as did the official judges. Computer box or whatever they call the punch counter had Canelo landing more punches than Khan in almost every round and out landing him 48 punches to only 37 punches landed by Khan and computer box is neutral.

we all saw the lucky punch canelo got off. he had no idea where khan even was. just got frustrated and threw some wild overhand right and then followed khan on the highway and made him speed off.

Canelo was too big, he landed more body shots on Lara then Khan, but Lara didnt slow down as much as khan, but when you fight a WW, ofcourse your body shots will slow a fighter down fast. Especially someone who just put on a lot of weight.

Also I had Khan up 4-1, but Canelo was timing him well, once he got use to the speed.
