Please fire Miguel Rivera for writing this trash:

Such a fight would match two of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport and establish a clear top threat to the reign of WBC champion Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez.

When was Nietes P4P? how is Estrada a threat? the opposite would be closer to the truth : hes a cripple now and his team might be cashing him out by taking on this fight ; its a very irresponsible and negligent decision to fight Nietes without a tuneup 'La Gallina' is about to get his head chopped off!

Nietes has long been considered a pound for pound fighter. He's dominated his divisions and takes on all comers. There is nothing to suggest Estrada is on the slide. He looked better in his last performance than Gonzalez did with Arroyo.

Nietes a P4P fighter beating who??? and Gonzalez beat a virtually undefeated top contender (McWilliams Arroyo) who won gold multiple times in the amateurs but really she he should of been a former IBF world champion since he was robbed by the Tai not some punching bag midget ( Hernand Marquez) who been KO 4 times!

Nietes is my country man. He's regularly on TV but I don't really get the itch to watch him. He always fight Mexican or Thai bums. He's been a champ for so long but I have to see him fight a fellow champ or a name fighter. So this is basically his first real test.

And to be honest, I am not sure if he can beat Estrada.

Nietes is a solid fighter, a longtime beltholder, but he certainly never "dominated" his divisions, particularly at minimumweight, where he never fought any of the other beltholders and was never clearly the best. That being said, at 34, moving up to fight a younger, stronger belt-holder shows guts, if it happens.

                  that's true...

nietes needs more career defining fights....just having broke flash elorde's longest title hold record won't be enough to place really up high the p4p list....
