So the number 1 super middleweight in the world fighting the number 1 light heavyweight in the world is for a paper championship?

You are the definition of a fanboy. The man criticizes golovkin, now you discredit the best fight in 2016 ward vs kovalev. Because he said ward would beat gennady.

Do us a favor and go watch wrestling. Since you don't respect the best fighting the best

I think you missed my point.....

The fight obviously died over the weight..... because at 160, the advantage would go to Golovkin..... and at 155, the advantage would go to Canelo.....

..... and amazingly, it was left up to Canelo to make that fight.....

Not sure why, especially considering that fact that the B-side Golovkin has been running around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can beat "anyone from 154-168"?

It seems to me that in light of the circumstances mentioned above, perhaps Team Golovkin should have negotiated with Canelo?

I definitely think it will never happen now.

            Roach telling the truth...

You have to beat the man in order to be the man you can't be that by default. Cassius Clay vs Sonny Liston.....Pryor vs Argwayo...Leonard vs Hearn, Toney vs Nunn, Jones Jr. vs Toney etc. etc. At the end of the day GGG hasn't fought anyone notable. He could fight Danny Jacobs, Lara to give him some cache but those fights haven't happened.

Sorry! My bad??? I just KNOW I could of blasted his top 10 and made him look like a fool. Canelo deserves his spot for the work he put in... Yes, I'm PISSED at him but that clown was just HATING! He probably would of had Trout, Lara, AND Cotto ahead of him until someone showed him who Canelo has beat.

If they are unwilling to negotiate with Canelo, they will never get that fight.

                      That fact is sooooo obvious.

They were 100% aware of that fact.

                      100%

And yet, they elected to rely upon the WBC to strong-arm/manipulate Canelo, rather than negotiate with him in good faith.

When the B-side, REALLY wants to make a fight with the A-side, he will need to negotiate in good faith..... especially if the A-side has never weighed more than 155, and the B-side spent FOUR YEARS running around saying that he can beat "anyone from 154-168".

That fight will never happen, and yet, it was there if they really wanted it.
