    The second day of competition at the APB/WSB Olympic Qualification Event in Vargas, Venezuela, saw the flyweight (52kg), lightweight (60kg), light welterweight (64kg), welterweight (69kg), light heavyweight (81kg) and heavyweight (91kg) boxers in action. The eighteen bouts delivered some superb boxing and surprise results as the winning athletes took another big step towards Rio 2016 qualification.

            Banned for life? I think thats extreme. Certain sanctioning bodies already said that they wont rank them. That's enough.

                There's no way Amnat won that fight. He barely threw anything at all.
                I think AIBA wants to make sure the more known pros do well, so more known pros can participate for 2020. The lower level pros that are competing are getting beat pretty handily.
                N'Dam should do better than Amnat though.

                    Though he did have a decent amateur career iirc, when you consider his pro style it's quite nearly the antithesis of Olympic scoring. A counter-puncher who isn't scared to rough you up? I'm really interested in seeing how far Ruenrong gets.
