You haven't heard anything. You get your information from the same place as us, the internet.

It could very well be that Loeffler is still trying to get the Saunders fight, since it is a priority and a potentially more lucrative fight. So they could actually be the ones stalling the fight.

So moral of the story make GGG vs Lara instead, its the only viable option for GGGs legacy at this time, its really the only opponent right now (that is willing to face him) that will test GGGs full skillset, maybe next year Andrade, JRock etc etc might be ready but for now just make Lara vs GGG what dafuq are you waiting for
It's actually not hard to see why. Lara wants big money, like Eubanks, but doesn't offer anything to make it worth it. Lara, Charlo, Charlo, and Trout didn't break 500k on Showtime, how's he justify paying top money to.

But for some odd reason Eubanks can bring fans to the table in the U.K., which means GGG and Eubanks get paid.

If Lara wanted way less than he's asking for or could make the fight big enough, I'd want to see Lara get destroyed. But most fans hate watching Lara run.

Dafuq you talking about? Lara ISN'T A MIDDLEWEIGHT. End of story. Who cares if he's calling for the fight? How about he fight a middleweight first in that case? Dude lost to Alvarez already, and got smashed to the canvas twice v Angulo. He'd be abused by Golovkin.

GGG-Saunders grosses FAR less money than GGG-Eubank. The latter would actually be an exciting fight. The former would be a cat and mouse game. We all know how that goes; eventually the cat gets the mouse and rips it to shreds.

What on earth would be the point of fighting Lara?
He's never fought at MW and has no MW ranking.
He's unknown to anyone but serious boxing fans.
A fight with him brings no money - certainly nothing like Eubanks.
He doesn't even advance any strategic positioning for GGG vis a vis the WBO title.
So if you're going to do a voluntary why on earth would you want to fight him?
If Lara really wants to fight GGG all he has to do is move up and have some success (i) build a WBO ranking (ii) get some fans.

I would love to see Golovkin smash Lara, but Eubank's the better & more competitive fight.

Take a look a Lara's recent opponents over the last two years: Ishe Smith, Delvin Rodriguez, Jan Zaveck, and Vanes Martitrosyn. Lara doesn't want a tough fight, he just wants to coast. Lara's quiet when it comes to Danny Jacobs, hell he's quiet when it comes to Demetrius Andrade who's calling him out. When Lara really wants a fight, he shows up at press conferences like he did for Alvarez. He hasn't even had his manager or promoter try to contact Loeffler. Screw Lara.

Well that would be complete conjecture at this point. We've heard nothing from Suanders since Canelo got out of the way.

Truth is, Suanders is hoping to be the pawn in GBP big game to get another MW title, only to say they're not a MW and that they'll fight GGG sometime in 2018, 2019, etc.

But we do know they've been talking to the Eubanks.

Exactly. People keep bringing Lara up on some absurd notion k2/GGG are frightened of him.

Believe it or not, at K2 they get such a kick out of that notion. Loeffler has said he is friends with Lara's manager. He probably doesn't feel the need to bash his boy's fighter. But both sides know damn well Lara doesn't want or has any business getting hit by GGG. Lara competition has been real bad as of late, and you're right, if Angulo got to Lara, GGG destroys him.

i always wondered, why will tom offer a lara fight to ggg?
