Mayweather vs. Broner is one of those fights you always felt would happen one day.

GGG isn't too big. Floyd feels he's too good at this point. Theres always a cw there for fkoyd. Floyd was dehydrated at 147 so Floyd porobsbky walks around a little heavier than 150.

Floyd is too damn old at this point. I mean he should win these fights, but unlike in the past, it is far from guaranteed. I saw a ton of slippage in the Berto fight, and that was a year ago. He needs to stay retired.

James J Jefferies vs Jack Johnson is the sort of fight undefeated champions should come back for.
I wonder if they ever imagined how soft boxing (and society) would become in a few generations. That never again would people rise to the occasion as they did, that people would gawk in disbelief at what they achieved. Jefferies was 6 years out of the ring and lost over 45kg (100 pounds in the old scale) in a matter of months. That youtube footage of him playing with his dog before the fight is classic.
Now we make up excuses over 5 pounds, or the latest - 1 pound ffs!!
Jefferies did lose, but better to have tried and failed than not have tried at all.

mayweather jr needs to stay retired. that 50th fight itch might be getting to him,but this sport is brutal and he'll be 40yrs old. (TMT)

FMjr did enough for the sport -- good things and/or bad things.

Why no Brook or Thurman on his list of people to fight Floyd?
