It was a close fight, but I don't see the need or THAT much demand for an immediate rematch. Both guys are still young so I'd rather see Thurman move forward, although I guess the bs mandatory fight he gots won't allow for him to realllllly move forward, but you get my point, & for Porter to regroup & get a some W's & earn his way back to a title shot.

Thurman won it clear, theres a lot of welters so any combo between them is great, Brook vs Vargas looks about done

        Thurman, Pacquiao, Garcia, Bradley, Porter

Spence vs Gomez make it GBP vs PBC

Absolutely you won, it was closer than I expected but the outcome was the same. Shawn won a good 4 rounds, maybe 5...he came to fight as expected. I don't see a rematch changing. Maybe even Keith wins by more.

Like Garcia-Matthysse, one young fighter has now earned the opportunity to move forward in search of big fights. And he'll be less likely to take a high risk bout unless it involves big money. So maybe we see Thurman fight one or two somewhat gimme fights until a Garcia or Brook or Mayweather comes calling. Maybe Pacquiao, who knows? And fans will quickly begin calling him a cherry picker until that happens. That's the way it goes. Thurman-Garcia is that obvious next premier match but we may have to wait a couple fights before we see it.

It was a great scrap. I gave the nod to Thurman for landing cleaner more telling punches. The rematch needs to build. Hopefully they can both move on to fight the other champs or upcomers. Thurman vs Brook Vargas winner this winter. Porter vs the loser. Then the mega unification against Garcia next spring. The Porter vs loser winner gets Spence.

Translation: Shawn Porter isn't getting a rematch any time soon. Which should be fine since Porter can get another top WW and continue to build his brand.

Man took his risk, won, he deserves appreciation and rewards. If no Vargas-Brook, I Hope Thurman fights Brook and stomps him out.

Porter-Khan would be a good fight next.

you need to learn the definition of 'clear win' you are clearly confused.
not one person doesn't think it was not an extremely close fight.
