They are both A sides , if Brook went to the USA to fight against a top fighter there he would be demanding equal pay at least.
Ok - who is the next IBF mandatory for Brook - that's something to look forward to then.
He is wasting his prime. Although Khan is a poorer welter-weight he is a braver fighter. At least when Khan was at LWW he took the big dangerous fights with Maidana and Garcia.

I'm DONE with Brook AND his POS CRYING fans! Dude will NEVER fight anyone. Vargas is going in HIS own backyard. I was wondering why this is taking 1,000 years to make?

If ANY POS Brook Fan brings up Thurman, Khan, or any relevant fighter they need to be put on the SPAM list...

I thought this fight was all but good to go so I'm surprised to hear this news. Any info on the difference in money that Hearn is wanting to pay vs what Vargas wants? Or is that just what they are selling as to why the fight isn't looking as likely as it was.

I don't understand how they can't see this.

It's make or break for Brook, another bum and it's over.
What percentage of the momentum he had after the Porter fight would you say he has lost now? I would say he has lost 50% of that momentum and if he fights another fighter ranked below 20 he will have lost 70% momentum.

The obvious thing here is that Brook is too much about money than legacy.

The only other thing I an see is a tactical ploy. If you were Brook and Hearn who'd you consider the biggest threat, Vargas or Spence? Gotta be Spence right. Thurman is equally a threat and Garcia isn't happening. So put off Garcia and then when Spence is imminent pull the Vargas unification rabbit out of the hat to trump the mandatory against Spence.

I think the issue is Brook's purse. Vargas already signed.

I honestly think there's not much of that momentum left. He's basically lost it all. Look at Porter who lost to Brook, he has been in two big fights since then.

Spence obviously, but I don't think it has anything to do with that.

Brook just backed out after this....

Keith Thurman happy to face Kell Brook if he gets past Jessie Vargas

The issue will be with GGG V Eubank throwing a spanner in the works.

Kell was suppose to fight Vargas on PPV in September. Now Eddie is trying to make GGG V Eubank for Sept and Brook's PPV even if rescheduled for Oct will take a hit as a result (being moved and end up doing less buys) Brook is probably unwilling to take a lower purse than first offered by Hearn and that's what is holding up the fight.

OK the flip side is he's gonna make LESS fighting a NOBODY! And then no real fighter is going to want to waste their time on this Prima Donna. He'll just stall and waste good months training, scheduling, better fights. And he never travels.
