You don't win fights on paper, you win them in the ring.
You don't win fights on paper but if you don't have special qualities as a fighter you better have some valuable experience or you'll end looking for answers to questions you never been asked mid-fight.
I'm not mad though, I saw this coming and took the odds. Won me a bit of cash in the process.

I would LOVE to see Dejan Zlaticanin vs Denis Shafikov I telling you right now that would be fight of the year if they make it. A DREAM Stylistic Match Up! They're basically identical!

Good thing I laid a bet on him. Money in the bank muhfúckazz.
Time for a victory drink. Remy 1738 will do nicely.
i'm curious to know what the judges' scores were. did they say on the telecast? i pretty much stopped watching once the fight was over. enjoy that victory drink!

As I posted earlier the only guy that really had Shaifikovs number was Titere, but he's just a slippery bastard. Simple fact is that Shafikov is a top flight guy at 135 despite somehow being largely overlooked. Anyone who'd followed him knew that this would be a massive hill to climb for Semper Fi - I voted for the Shafikov UD despite the fact that I was expecting very favourable judging for Herring.... it was just a case of too much, too soon, though after last night's showing I'm not sure Jamal would ever be ready.

They didn't announce the scores, but Shafikov should've won every round, with a two point round in the second. But who the fúck knows with these judges nowadays..
Yeah, that drink was tasty. Love that cognac.
And I needed some wins, too. This fight, plus what I bet on Thurman over Porter, has won me back most of the dough I lost on the Provo-Molina fight.

I was expecting some very favorable cards for Herring, but its good he took it out of the judges hands.
