Virgil Hunter has a point. When you look at the pedigree and rankings, Brand had 400 amateur fights and is undefeated. Dominic Wade is a good boxer but that is about it. No comparison, no risk. Ward moved up and fought the number 1 undefeated contender

I believe Wade also has a nice Amatuer career and beat world level at pro.

I wouldn't count the interim as official defences. I never used the argument of the title defences. The WBA "regular" title is an interim title unless there isn't a Super champion. If there's no super champion then the "regular" title is the actual title. But TBH I don't care about that record. Most GGG fans dont care either.

Regular is not interim, we all know that guy is an idiot. Gamboa was allowed to unify his regular title, and they call Jacobs world champ on Pbc. Besides Ggg was way more of a champ than Wba super duck Sturm

To be honest I hate the WBA ******ity of super champion and regular champion. The super champion is the real champion. And of course Sturm was a ducker.
