Any news on that young heavyweight prospect Luis Ortiz?

I was expecting big things from this young kid out of Cuba, he just stepped up against Jennings and Tony Thompson and was looking like a good prospect

Is he ready to mix it with the old veterans like wilder and fury or need more time?

    When's he out next?

Well you can forget about Fury word is hes going to get banned soon...and speaking of young prospect I wonder why Joshua hardly if ever speaks his name...you know two steroid abusers would be a very interesting too see ; may the best PED win.

He's got a fight booked, forget the dude's name. Was delayed because HBO didn't want to touch it until some litigation on Ortiz's end was resolved (which it is).

BTW, I agree. I'm excited to see these young Cubans Rigo and Ortiz show up on the scene. I think they both have bright futures ahead of them.

          I agree man

The only clean heavyweights are :

          Wilder
          Millar
          Washington

Ortiz has an incredible resume for a guy so green. His handlers shouldn't try to rush him, though. Plenty of time to let him develop and grow into his frame.

he's 37 years old, so I'm not sure that "young kid" is the right description lol

Luis "Baby Face" Ortiz is the future of boxing.

Hopefully his handlers start him slowly and build him up. In three or four years time, who knows, he could be fighting Hughie Fury for the heavyweight title.

These cubans aren't young, they can be pro just for some years, but time is running and all are over his 30's.
