Schaefer bringing big $$$ investors to boxing

It's a revolutionary time for boxing.

First Haymon comes out guns a blazing getting $900 million+ to get PBC rolling and now Schaefer is apparently bringing in another dump truck full of money from investors to build up PBC even bigger.

It's no surprise that investors are willing to spend big $$$ on boxing seeing that the UFC is getting sold for over $4 billion.

Drop $2 billion to sell for $5-$6 billion in 8-10 years.

Awesome, I remember the last guy Schaeffer was with to bring big money into boxing... If they spend 5 billion, maybe they'll get back 20!

If thats the plan it'll be hard for PBC to fail. The stuff I read about Schaefer seemed more cryptic then he's bringing a convoy of trucks with piles of money to save the day doe so we'll see. I do tend to believe that Haymon's & Schaefer's business relationship goes deep, but then again since all hell broke loose with the Schaefer vs Oscar thing with Haymon seemingly helming the ideas that maybe Schaefer & Haymon aren't as down as they used to be. Whatever the case it'll be interesting to see what Slick Ricky does 100%.

It's all an act in public but it's clear as day that Haymon/Schaefer operate as a unit.

It'll be interesting to see how they integrate Mayweather in the mix.

And it's not about Schaefer "saving" anyone. It's about the plan unfolding and taking boxing to the next level.

I am sure that's a good thing and good for boxing. All I can think of when Schaefer's name comes up his how he stabbed his long time friend Oscar in the back while he was still a partner in Golden Boy. He is not an honorable man who can be trusted. If he had quit Golden Boy to work with Haymon that would have been fine. But he helped Oscar's rival, Haymon get Oscar's fighters behind Oscar's back while he was a top guy at Golden Boy and that was morally wrong any way you cut it. I don't even like Oscar but he didn't deserve that.
