my point was that if Peter didn't hit hard as hell, Steward would have instructed Wlad to go right at him, like he did byrd. Wlad was boxing and on his bicycle the whole match, he never tried to unload a combo to get peter out of there because he knew the power that Peter posesses

Corrie dropped Wlad 4 times, and all KDs were legit, in sharp contrast to Peter who sent Wlad barely to a 1 (legit) KD.

I suggest that you don't dismiss illegal rabit punching so easily (blah blah style) -- Messi has gotten a serious trauma from the punch landed behind his head by Jirov.

I see your point... This was the case in McCline fight as well... Wlad was very cautious the entire fight. McCline is not a great puncher though.

Wlad underestimated Corrie, But he did'nt under estimate Peter, because he knew the power peter has, he boxed with him.. if he slugged he would have been out since he boxed.. which was clever, he won...

            steward is a good trainer

the reason why i think his power really is legit is because with only 20 amateur fights, he is blasting people out and hanging with wlad who has loads of ring experience, despite his poor technique. if he straightens his punches out he will kill people. he needs an uppercut too.

you are right -- his raw power is there; maybe more technique and boxing skills would help a lot
