What was your first memory of boxing

Mine was going to my mom's for a weekend visit.I was around 7 or 8 and chris eubank fought Nigel benn for the first time,I got to stay up late to watch it because I saw something about it on the news and asked my mom why two grown men would fight on t.v....been hooked ever since

I was born in ******ia and my family isn't really into boxing but they were huge Pernell Whitaker fans. That was a good time to be a boxing fan with him, the Tyson era, Finito Lopez, Roy Jones, etc.

Meeting "Fast" Freddie Pendleton as a little kid visiting my aunt in Key West. Started watching random boxing matches from then on. ESPN Classic used to show old fights from like 3-5 CST pretty much every day after school. Got hooked from there on.
