I doubt he'll become a big PPV star if he beat GGG. Look at it like this, this massive Super middleweight fighter who could easily campaign at 175 beat someone smaller than him. Not only that but GGG isn't even a good PPV draw himself so why would beating him instantly make you a PPV star? Zurdo will definitely jump start his career if he beat GGG and will probably start selling out arena's and at his young age that's an amazing start.

His resume is better than Golovkin's.

i get what arum is thinking, even know ggg isnt a ppv draw, ramirez could become one if he beats him cuz he is mexican, the problem here is zurdos style, he is not an entertaining fighter, he is older than canelo and not many care about him, if he was to become some sort of draw he will already be making noise, the best he can be is a b side ppv guy, like marquez, and marquez is already a legend but his style and lack of charisma did not allowed him to become a ppv fighter... zurdo has the skills to do big things if he keeps improving but he wont become the next cash cow imo...

Ramirez will get smashed to bits. Sorry but just because he beat a washed up former mw in Abraham, doesn't make him legit. Abraham wasn't even a top 5 fighter at 168 when he was younger. Guess everyone wants the next Mexican hope since Canelo has become a huge disappointment.

lil g is NOT a ppv star himself. He can steal ALL of the 97k idiots who paid money to see his "Big Bum Show" away from lil g. LOL

Not likely. Even if he beat GGG he's not a PPV star himself so beating him don't make you one. And fans will just say ok you beat a guy who is WAYYY smaller then you. Do people realize Ramirez is 6'3 and shrinks down just to make 168 and he has yet to beat the other top fighters at 168? He has got the body of a natural light heavyweight and many see him picking on smaller weak competition as it is at 168. His next fight is against the middleweight version of Salka. So beating GGG will do nothing to solidify him at 168.

Last even if he beats GGG the biggest problem Ramirez has for why likely won't cross over to PPV star is his fighting style. Dude is BORING as shyt! That's why despite him being Mexican he can't draw shyt for fans because he puts Mexican's to sleep. I'm telling you he's the Mexican Lara.

Generally you gotta beat a PPV star &/or have a entertaining style to become a PPV star so I'll take that bet Bob. First off doe I don't think Ramirez gets by GGG. I do think he can make GGG look bad for a few rounds (kinda like Khan did to Canelo), but I can't see him not being caught sooner or later & when he gets caught the whole dynamic of the fight will change.

He's basically trying to get another cash cow. He's trying to hype up zurdo. Only reason why zurdo next fight is against someone rank in the 100's at mw division is to make zurdo look impressive compare to his opponent because if he fight someone with comparable skills he'll look like trash.

That's hilarious that Wards career best win is no threat to a smaller, much less experienced guy. I thought Ward was meant to have a good resume, but you're telling me it's ****?
