So much Garcia hate. I think Thurman beat him but Garcia takes too much abuse on here. We should all be very happy if/when this fight gets made.

Forgot about Cotto. Thats a money fight and a hell of a challenge for Thurman. I would say cotto drops Thurman at 147-154

I agree. Cotto is stronger than Thurman and way more experienced. Thurman has youth and speed in his favor but it won't be enough to overcome cottos forward attack. It would be a very good fight however.

Yup heard the same thing when he was going to fight Matthysse. Seriously Danny has proved he'll fight anyone.

Yeah, literally anyone. Like Rod Super Salka and Paulie Melon-noggin. I do think that Thurman/Garcia has the potential to be an interesting match-up but I also think the risk outweighs the reward for Garcia.
All credit to him if he actually takes this fight.
