Would Floyd have stayed undefeated if he fought all his top opponents in their prime?

Do you genuinely think Floyd would have stayed undefeated if he fought Cotto, Mosley, De La Hoya, Pacquiao in their primes? Also if he hypothetically fought Margarito & Williams as well. Do you think he would have still beat them all if he fought them all at their very best?

I believe he would lose to Oscar by UD and Mosley by KO(it's a pitty Mosley was the one that ducked that one). Pac is 50/50 because Pac has a very short reach.

Williams would get outboxed worse than the Quintana bout. Margarito beats him via tko in a fight Floyd would be winning on points. Then again Margarito probably had bricks.

In conclusion I'm sure Oscar wins a UD and Mosley KO's him. Pac is 50/50. Margarito shouldn't count because of his bricks.

Does he get to be in his prime as well or is this one of those "stack the deck against him because that's the only way to beat him" kinda threads?

Floyd in his Prime at 147 vs Oscar de la Hoya in his prime at 147. Who do you pick?

Floyd/Ployd is older than most those guys. Prime? Who knows?

Yeah, of course he would be. Floyd was probably still considered in his prime up until 2011/2012.

I lean toward Oscar in that scenario IF he brought the aggression he had in the Mayweather fight, but with a younger/quicker body, he'd win. IMO, it would have to be that type of gameplan though.

On the subject, I think Oscar is criminally undersold in fantasy scenarios. He's sort of vilified these days and people forget just how capable he was back in the day.

Yes of course he would have.

Ps. Mosley and Dela Hoya were the ones ducking Mayweather throughout the years, not the other way around.

Oscar was bigger than Floyd, made Floyd move up and made him wear pillow gloves and still could get Floyd out of gear too until the second half of the fight, at which point Floyd only had to move up to gear three to completely dominate Oscar.

A smaller Oscar at 147 would be easy work for Floyd. 10th round KO easy.
