it's called exposure. More people see him fight, better chances of him becoming famous. That's why he always brings Canelo's name and they are not even close in weight.Comment

i dont know if zurdo has a personal problem with canelo, but for those who dont know zurdo used to fight for canelo promotions a few years ago before arum took over... so canelo was his promoter and for some reason he wont stop talking **** about him...Comment

For sure this. Fair enough to criticize Canelo cuz he surely deserves it here even by the most reasonable of fans, but Ramirez might be wise to stfu about it cuz it sounds like Elton John calling Lance Bass a f@ggot.And as for his fighting in the ring he is about the furthest thing you can find from a Mexican with pride. Dude runs in the ring and has boring fights. He's damn near the Mexican Lara. And look who he is fighting next? Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house.Comment

You guys are funny. Ramirez makes a point that you all know is true. First, Canelo said he wanted to fight Golovkin, but only @ 155. Then after he KO'd paper-chinned Khan & felt good about himself, he called Golovkin to the ring and talked a load of crap about how he's not afraid to fight him, he's ready to fight him right now, Mexicans don't fuck around, ect. Then within a couple of weeks, he vacates his title, saying that he still wants Golovkin, but didn't want to deal with the WBC's deadlines. Next, he announces that he will drop to JMW & fight Liam Smith for his WBO belt. Finally, he states that he's pushed back the Golovkin fight to fall of 2017. How can boxing fans feel good about this turn of events?Comment

I think actual boxer's opinions matter more than ours. Canelo will be around his peers more than us. And they've been clowning him lately. LOL!Comment
