Oscar is a textbook of a boxer as you will ever see. So definitely him.

Mm... Prime Judah or maybe past-prime Oscar.
He struggled with both but neither were A-level at their time

must be pac because pac was able to land the cleaner punches, time him with counters and have the slicker defense, but he didn't hold or bend over enough to really be a "pure" boxer. that's what he lacked in his gameplan

In their prime? I'd say Judah.

Arum said. "It's like talking to the wall. I said 'Fight Stevie Johnston.' Floyd said, 'I don't want to fight him. He's a bum.' "

Arum said it was "likely" HBO would simply bench Mayweather and give his date away instead of arguing over opponents. "They're not going to put up with this much longer," he said.

unfortunately they put up with it a lot longer. they couldn't say no to a floyd cherry pick.

When Judah was on point, was a hell of a boxer.
Cotto is a great pure boxer, just watch Margarito II.
Dela Hoya was as skilled as they come.
Corley is better than his record suggest and is a pretty good pure boxer.

Not too many prime pure boxers on Floyd's resume.
