if this is true I would love to see this fight, although I highly doubt it. This is probably not to bad of a matchup for Green since Calzaghe does not have much power, so his suspect chin should be ok. I wouldn't be suprised if Green put up a decent fight even though he is much less experience. Personally, I think this is a much better matchup for Green than it would be him vs. Lacy.

Edit: now the date of the fight has been changed to July 8th which is much more reasonable

You are seriously underestimating Mr. Calzaghe's power, I would venture to say that Jeff Lacy may be the only Super Middle in the world today that could have taken the kind of beating he did from Joe and make it the full 12.

Allan Green caught a kid with less then 10 pro fights cold in the first 15 seconds of a fight, the idea that Green is even remotely ready for a season pro like Joe is disgusting.

Green has no business in this fight and I seriously doubt it will ever come to fruition.
