Floyd could seriously buy Connor Mcgregors rights off Dana and Lorenzo & could shelf Connor for the rest of his career. That being said, one bad PPV can't erase the records Floyd set and broke over and over again. MCgregor doesn't do what Floyd does. I get it, he had one bad showing, but Connor mCgregor does not even deserve the chance to share the ring with mayweather. Absolutely he deserves 50/50. He's going to be bringing in most of the audience. His last fight with Diaz did well over 1.3M, and that was a fight that had 9 days worth of promotion.

Berto-Mayweather did 550K.

You look at other factors like McGregor's tweet about retirement had more retweets than Kobe Bryant's retirement. He's clearly got a bigger profile than Floyd.

Floyd needs McGregor to get over 1M buys. His Showtime career can really broken down into two halves with Pac and Canelo and without Pacquiao Canelo. He couldn't do over a million without those two.
