I favor Golovkin, never said he would win 100%.
Probably GGG wouldn't look great vs Lara.

I think he would walk trough Lara at some point, but again that's just my opinion. I've seen Lara shows weaknesses vs pressure and I think he wouldn't handle GGG's.

I think you are not fair towards Golovkin and should realize that.

1) Jacobs said he wants to fight right now BJS, GGG in 18 months.

2) Regarding Nelo, Oscar said they want to fight GGG late, getting Nelo used to 160 "but won't late 6 years to build the fight".

3) BJS doesn't want to fight GGG and seems also to avoid Jacobs pricing himself out. At least, he isn't eager to step in the ring with them.

4) Cotto has been paying step aside fees, LOL.

My point is GGG has been avoided in his own division.

That being said, I think that Loeffler dude has been doing a poor job, unless they want to build GGG a Calzaghe career, wich wouldn't be that bad, but I truly think GGG is a competitor looking at his amateur pedigree.
So I think he's not helping GGG and GGG doesn't seem to care about the business aspect of the game.

You guys are picking guys Ward, Lara, from others divisions.

If Lara really wants a piece of GGG, he just have to fight a Lemieux of a Stevens and beat them nicely, then he would be there hot for a shot.

I agree that the middleweights appear to be in no hurry to fight Golovkin..... but I am also well-aware that K2 are cheap-as-hell, and notoriously difficult to deal with. They have also lied over purses.

They are strictly " my way, or the highway "..... so yea, you reap what you sow..... they tried that "A-side" stuff on Cotto, Canelo, Ward, who are much bigger than Saunders/Jacobs..... so I highly doubt that Team Golovkin did everything they possibly could to make those fights.

Also, Golovkin is a middleweight sure..... but when we are discussing big fights, or lack of big fights in this case, then all possible opportunities are fair game...... Ward/Canelo both tick the "anyone from 154-168" box, and we all know that Team Golovkin have mentioned everyone else at 168, even recently adding Ramirez to that list.

According to the Team Golovkin mantra, Ward and Canelo could have happened...... so there is no reason why they shouldn't be included on the list of potential fights that could have happened, but for whatever reason did not.

It is pretty obvious that they are taking the fights they want, and passing on the fights they don't want..... just like everyone else.

Usually im on your side HeroBando , but if Lara goes up he doesnt need to get a mando status , its a one time fight (if he wants to go ahead and campaign at 160 he can transition afterwards) , but you never going to get good fights crossing weight class if you want the B side running after rankings/eliminators and mandatories......
I feel the fight will not be competitive and i wouldnt mind seeing it if GGG team cant get a good fight at MW , Eubank is far better fight both $ wise and I feel boxing wise + its a great event at the hottest boxing region today , so for me it ticks all the right boxes.
Lara should be a really good fallback , better then a mid tier MW for example but not as good as a BJS/Jacobs/Eubank/Canelo fights.
