      Blame the victim. Wilder being the champion has to fulfill his contractual obligations : enter the fight without any performance enhancements in hostile territory but Povetkin don't have to meet his end -- take Peds , buy home-field advantage (through a purse bid) then sue the aggrieved party ( Team Wilder) because Vada and the WBC did their jobs.

        Which neatly sets up wilder to fight bum after bum after bum so americans can pretend they are relevant on the hw scene once again?

            Wilder and his party were running their mouth before any conclusions were reached, just look at the board here.

            In international media, if you read the rest of Ryabinski's comments, they are open to a settlement, but it will not preclude the fight from happening.

            If Wilder wants to get paid... he will have to put on the big boy pants and fight... heck with so much drama baked in... he might even get a bit more.

            In any case, Ryabinski expects a final WBC ruling in the next 2 weeks.

              Wilder will never defend against povetkin or anyone else with top 10 credentials. Look at his pathetic resume for chrissake! Mark my words, bumsquad will give up the wbc belt rather than fight povetkin.

                It does not matter what they pay him this fight should not be sanction as they violated the anti-doping policies under Vada and the WBC...what is the point of having rules then? apparently some of you don't care if Wilder losses in a fair fight the goal is that he losses no matter how unfair the conditions are.

                  Wilder ain't dropping shi.t but that fat cheating Russian.

                  He didn't drop the belt when he signed to fight in Russia.

                    IKR! They had everything in their favor; they get the purse bid, title shot, they get it in RUSSIA. But nooo.... Their guy can't stay off the junk for 3 months. Instead of apology, they slap an absurd counter-suit and say, "You're fighting us in a few months." Before the board has even determined his punishment. It's like the punchline to one of those "In communist Russia..." jokes!
                    Sorry Boris, that's not the way shyt works.

                      We've been though this already. You were wrong. He took the fight already but Povetkin was insistent on doing this instead;
