160 is the maximum weight for the division. Meaning a middleweight fight can be sanctioned at 157.3 if so agreed. It favors Golovkin to fight at the max. He isn't wrong for taking that position. We as fans just have to recognize who is being inflexible and analyze fights that fail to materialize objectively.

I think you might want to reconsider that inflexible aspect considering every single fighter people here mention for Golovkin requires he meet them at their weight, not any middle point but at the weight they demand including sour @ss Froch who is talking about 172. He's the man at 160lbs but he's gotta do 155, 168, 172.
