"Many opponents" as in who? I'm not saying there aren't others but don't just talk smack. Who makes more sense business wise and legacy wise according to you? Try to use your brain and say more than just Andre Ward lol

There is a lot of bull**** in that tiny sentence.

GGG is not going to unify by fighting Eubank, and Canelo is fighting for the WBO title, at 154.

Actually ***it, your story was better..... lets stick with that.

Canelo, like he said he would.....

Golovkin Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154.....

Andre Ward didn't make Chad Dawson do ****; Dawson saw what fighting Andre Ward could mean to him, Chad Dawson went on national TV and stated that he was ready to make 168 for that fight, and Andre Ward and his camp held Chad Dawson to his word.

After he and his camp talked that **** about fighting anyone 154-168, was thirsting after Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, so Andre Ward said "I'll fight you at 168"; Golovkin ducked out of that situation.

With Golovkin no longer talking that "fight anyone 154-168" nonsense, notice how folks have largely left him alone; anyone that's still talking about fighting Golovkin is happily ready to fight him at his preferred 160lbs (Golovkin's camp thought they lucked into something that they could trick Alvarez into giving them an extra 5 pounds on the weight, but Alvarez deaded that nonsense).

If you can point to a single current 168lber who's thirsting after a fight with Golovkin, cong**** lol.

Golovkin's topped out at basically being able to pay out $500k to his opponent for a show where he's feature guy on; if you can point to any super middleweight who $500k would be life-changing money for them, you've got the chance of seeing a guy who may be willing to drag their bodies down from 168 for a fight.

Dashon Johnson (BoxRec #54 super middleweight) would fight Golovkin at whatever weight he wanted for $500k; doubt that any super middleweight higher than that even bothers with Golovkin.

            First time writer here.
This Sky sport money situation sounds like perfect excuse to get out of this fight...
            Sad story.

Eddie Hearn would have the business details with Sky and they are not public info. The promoter and network benefit from the lion's share of the ppv, with the fighters usually pocketing a bonus depending on how the event sells. If all parties more or less agreed, there shouldn't be anything preventing this one from happening as I see it; the fight is hugely marketable.

no that would be Sky/Matchroom i.e. the companies that make the investment.

I get what Eubank is trying to do, but I doubt any of the companies would every agree to it, because it doesn't make sense. Business wise.

6 million pounds wtf more like 6 million pence for that 2nd rate domestic fighter who couldn't even beat Saunders. Selling tickets to his execution not a champion level fight. Another waste of time fight for GGG he is making millions fighting weaklings in fights no one wants to see. Thanx HBO and Sky for encouraging this crap.
