Big time One Time fan here, and I was lil tipsy watching it live on tv. I thought the fight was close but I thought Porter edged it. Gonna rewatch it sober and see if I change my mind.

Do you know what I saw in that fight.....I saw Thurman on his stool with his head slumped in round 9and10 I think...I thought that's it he's gonna quit he's ready to go...he came back firing....proved me wrong....WARRRRTHURMAN!!!!!!!

So many ****wads around here insisted he would never fight Porter. Then when it was signed, they said he would duck out with an injury. Then when it became clear that wouldn't happen, they said he would quit or run or clinch. I don't know why NSB has it in their heads that Thurman doesn't want to fight anyone, considering he's been trying to fight big fights for a long time now.

Hopefully some of these people were shut up. He didn't duck, he went to war, and he won.
