Comments Thread For: David Haye: Joshua is Not Anywhere Near Enough To Beat Me!
Former two-division world champion David Haye (28-2, 26KOs) is pretty confident that his speed will overwhelm IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17KOs).
I would agree if Haye was in his prime, he would give AJ nightmare who is very stiff on his feet. That version of Wlad he fought had very intelligent footwork so it was much harder.
Come on josh, give the dog a bone. Hayes had 3 years out surely hate must be rusty. Ali was in prison that long and people use it to imply Ali never reached potential?
Just how long do you need haye to be out to think you stand chance with haye?
David Haye has never done anything at heavyweight and since he's had trouble with his 'toe' it's only gone down hill.....fight some contenders and stop trying to act like Amir Khan .
All this talk about Haye being OLDER and doing NOTHING , may be somewhat true ,but skills don't lie . Stylistically Haye would be a more threat to Joshua ,and age is a lable its SKILLS that win. Haye is STRONGER now i cant see where yoyu don't get that . At HW being just faster doesnt beat out better placed shots on the inside , where Haye is still the same fighter with ust more sustainability to him now thats why he ADDED size not because hes older ,he knows being a decent size at the current stack goes further . Show me a HW under 220 in 10 years who can or did dominate and i'll show you a 40 foot rabbit .... lol
