Id would have to disagree there, Arreola only got ranked after Wilder picked him, and hes Stivernes only notable win. Duhaupas and Molina were up lucky to crack the top 50 and Szpilka beat who? Adamek? Wilder has chosen carefully thus far and needs to step up if he wants to be considered a champion. Povetkin was a step in the right direction but that is a strange situation for another day. He had a chance in July bu choose to stay consistent.

Both world champs. Both medaled in the Olympics. Both big strong guys with crazy athletic gifts. This fight is going to be awesome.

I wish we could get them in a co-feature against separate opponents and then unify the titles... probably not enough money going that route though.

No they aren't, and weren't. Spilka got moved to 6 from 8 a week before the fight and Stiverne was a champ. Try again

Joshua looked slow against an even slower fighter in Brazil....he also looked slow against Whyte who himself looked like trash last night. Now I understand why Hearns has been matching AJ with very slow opponents after the Whyte Scare. Aj will have big problems with fighters who have speed....in the case of Wilder...speed and power.
