I had Thurman up 7-5. He just landed the more effective blows. Porter just pushed him around the ring a bunch then smothered most of his own work.

Thurman won, though it was a close fight. Porter should learn how to box rather than using his natural strength to jump & pop at his opponents rather than landing clear blows..Thurman counter punching strategy worked to perfection even though he was caught severally with an effective body punches from Porter.The fight is a sure candidate for Fight-of-the-year award not forgetting Vargas vs Salido.

Porter was effective to a point, I can't argue with the judges as it was very close.

Thurman put in cleaner work so if those particular judges like that over aggression and raw physicality then it was the correct result.

Porter can come again.

I had Keith winning by 2 rounds but my guess is if 10 of us showed our cards they would all be different. Great fight tho hope ratings matched the fight so we can get more of this

Porter needs to call in Freddie Roach and add some fine-tuning to his physical ability...

Thurman needs to learn to stand his ground with a firm jab more often... but that's more teachable than what Porter has to learn - either way... Thurman pulled the fight out after being down on the cards early...

I think 115-113 was the perfect score - Thurman pulled out the last two rounds... 6-5-1 or 7-4-1... I could see also... I just couldn't find a 6th round to give to Porter...

Thurman definitely can't exchange inside that well, and that's where he lost rounds when he let Porter force him into that..but when the fight was not fought under those circumstances it was One Time most of the day..
