Because if they lose to him they will lose their reputation, and losing means their future fights will make less money. That's why Canelo vacated and all these other guys pretend he doesn't exist. He's TOO good. which is a shame. Am I wrong?
Nah i'm with you on that, he is too good. Couple that with the fact that although he is crowd pleasing he doesn't have a huge following and doesn't bring much money to the table. A lot of risk with very little reward.

Finally someone who understands boxing. The boxers have too much power, if the officials say they have to fight they should fight or their licenses be revoked. It put great boxers like GGG out of pocket just because he doesn't wanna be a piece of **** to sell fights.

He isn't top 25 in the last 25 years as some ESPN journalists think.

But he's the best MW right now walking the planet.

Decent following, but him being PPV star and all that, he can't sell it himself.

He's a damn fine fighter, but the opportunities for him both legacy and financially might be drying out.

I think it's a mix of people staying away from the challenge of fighting him, and his team overestimating what he brings to the bargaining table.

I like him quite a bit.

I agree. It's a shame. I heard journalists say to David Haye that his last two opponents weren't nothing compared to him and he replied "Why show what i'm about now and make elite fighters not want to get in the ring with me?" He's right. GGG is poorly advised unfortunately

Considering GGG's level of comp...he should look a lot better.

He gets marked-up regardless the opponent.

He couldn't even make it past Wade without getting lumps under his eye.

Even a slow-motion mummy like Adama was able to land lead rights on GGG.

            That's not a good sign.

GGG gets hit way too much by these low level fighters...these guys shouldn't be touching him.

What happens when he fights somebody that can truly crack??

              Felix Sturm

He is too good, i dont see nobody him beating him at 160, hes getting old, if he wants to chase greatness hes gona have to make a move

If he really thinks he can make 154 safely like they say they can, then he should move down to 154 since its really hot right now, i think at 168 hes too small

But imagine GGG announcing hes coming down to 154!!!!

You can only be respected if you defeat top level opponents as otherwise all GGG is doing, is defeating inferior opposition in style.

How many top level fighters has he defeated? Fighters that will go down in history as leading fighters of their generation?
