Since he is not a PPV draw he can only pay his opponents so much and as you are seeing many guys that have options are moving on.
Back in the day Tyson was knocking everyone out. But guys would call him out and sign up because his fights were huge events and brought in huge money. Plus a loss to Tyson wasn't that bad for a guys career.
GGG is going to have to make some concessions sooner or later to land a big name otherwise he could go down as the ultimate What If? fighter of all time.

That's what it would come down to, GGG would have to be taking less that his opponents to get their signature over the line. HBO need to put their money where their mouth his too and throw caution to the wind, yes they would lose money but they can end up making it back.

Your #2 & #3 are redundant, but it's irrelevant b/c you know little of what your talking about.

Gennady Golovkin has held negotiations to fight at West Ham's stadium before the end of 2016, his promoter has confirmed to Sky Sports.

Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jr are the two likeliest targets for the unbeaten pound-for-pound king, although stepping up to super-middleweight to fight James DeGale is also an option.

The WBA 'Super' and IBF middleweight champion was in attendance with his representatives as West Ham drew with Manchester City at the weekend, sparking speculation that he would try to arrange a fight at the east London location.

Golovkin's promoter Tom Loeffler has now confirmed that he spoke to the West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan about staging a fight at either the Hammers' current or future home.

"Absolutely, at Upton Park or the Olympic Stadium," Loeffler told Sky Sports. "We were invited by David Sullivan. He expressed interest in Gennady fighting there so now we have to explore the opponent. It's an interesting option to have the owner of a football club host an event for Gennady.

"We sat down at the table in the chairman's room at the stadium and Sullivan said he was a fan.

"If they don't make a big local fight for Eubank then that could potentially be big, but the one that makes the most sense just because he's the champion would be a unification fight with [WBO champion] Saunders.

"By the end of 2016 or spring in 2017, depending on the opponent. If Saunders makes a defence then wants a fight in July, that's a stadium fight.

"It's certainly possible before the end of 2016. England has become an important market for Gennady whether it's against Saunders or Eubank Jr, ever since he fought Matthew Macklin and Martin Murray."

The 33-year-old from Kazakhstan could yet be roped into defending his gold against mandatory IBF challenger Dominic Wade, while a Stateside unifier with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez also looms.

But Loeffler is confident that neither of those commitments, should they be finalised, could scupper the opportunity to fight in London.

"[Eubank] would be the perfect scenario because he's a self-promoter who stirs the pot," Loeffler said.

"Gennady is so respectful that sometimes it helps to have a brash opponent. Curtis Stevens did it but crossed the line - that's Gennady's Eastern Bloc mentality. Gennady punished him for a couple of extra rounds more than he needed to.

"We made an offer [to fight Saunders] and they didn't turn it down, they just wanted a couple of defences to build up a future fight."

Writing in a column on his official website, Saunders' promoter Frank Warren said that no negotiations took place between the camps on Golovkin's recent visit to the UK, but discussions had happened previously.

Loeffler added: "I have a feeling that Andy Lee, if he had won [against Saunders] would have been a massive fight in New York because we made a deal with him once before but unfortunately Gennady's father passed away. Andy is still on the radar.

"DeGale is another big fight in the UK. Sure, it's been discussed, that's something that's interesting on our side too. If the timing is right, if DeGale makes another couple of [IBF super-middleweight title] defences that fight could be out there by the end of 2016."

Again the Olympic stadium does NOT belong to west ham or David Sullivan/David Gold. Ask British poster on here not GGG promoter or a tabloid newspaper. If they want to use the Olympic stadium they would have to ask the Mayor of London on behalf of the taxpayers not David Sullivan or David gold. All that PR that loeffler is selling you is that PR... Like I said in my previous post GGG attend one West Ham game... Doesn't change any fact.

You can listen to BS from Loeffler who probably was told about Upton Park (Definitely possible because West Ham owners owns it) but the Olympic stadium is rented to West Ham.

Any other events at that stadium has to be negotiated through the mayor of London on behalf of taxpayers.

Are you dense? Nobody said Sullivan owned Olympic Stadium. But he does have the ability to set things up, which is what he was trying to do. Jerry Jones does the exact same thing with Cowboy Stadium all the time. The city of Arlington owns it, but Jones tries to setup fights there.

A second ago you claimed Golovkin had no relationship to Sullivan, now I just gave you an article showing Sullivan invited him there and wants to setup a fight.

You must be a ******** moron or you got loeffler head up your a*s, Sullivan has zero relationship with GGG, you moron he appeared at one of west ham games like thousands of celebrity do, it doesn't mean they all have relationships with the club or the owners, just because Pacquiao fought in Jerry Jones stadium doesn't mean he had a relationship with him you ******.

You claimed with the tabloid article that loeffler is selling you regarding fighting at the Olympic stadium, because of this "relationship" with David Sullivan... Well am telling YOU moron that Sullivan has zero say if that fight would ever happen at the Olympic stadium... Loeffler would have to speak to the LLDC and the mayor of London NOT David Sullivan and your BS relationship... ******** idiot..

Even if Sullivan owns the stadium he co-owns the club which means he also has to bring David Gold on. Was just trying to clarify this in my initial post to you, didn't mean to upset you, but then you went full ******, can't some of you discuss with people in a normal way whether you agree or disagree without getting upset and calling people names? But if that's what you want I would dish it out too mate.

You and you're list made a bunch of statements that refute what was laid out in the article. On top of that you went off on a tangent that Sullivan was the stadium owner, when no one ever stated that was the case. So we're to take your opinion over the SKY article, and Sullivan & Loeffler's statements? Who are you? Do you want be consistent with your stance and claim Jerry Jones can't setup fights at AT&T Stadium too? Who said Jones & Pacquiao had a relationship? Arum & Jones do. You need to broaden your view on how business is done.

Now look at you rambling, what do work for the mayor or something? You laying out the intricacies of how buildings are leased out for events is completely irrelevant. You act like they haven't done this already for MSG or the Forum.

He said why are the British media saying they are ****** for wanting the GGG fight, instead of praising his son for wanting that fight they are telling him he isn't ready for that fight yet etc.. He said the first dollar should GO to the fighters (Junior) and then the broadcasters, promoters, managers etc can take whatever they want but that the first should go to his son/fighters. They are ready to sign off that fight on Monday (27/06/2016) and the same day that Skysports are meeting Eddie hearns. This actually made me believe Team Eubank jr want this fight 100%.
So they're saying Sky needs to change the way they do business in 48hrs if this fight is to happen? Sounds convincing

Basically hearns couldn't say it but Eubank snr was saying it, that everyone involve want the fight done on Monday. Team GGG are game, Team Eubank are too, Skysports are a bit scared because Eubank is their investment etc the video is on YouTube, it came out yesterday but I don't know how to post it on here because am using my iPhone. I would see if I can post the headline so you can search and hear it yourself.

Edit: the video is called "We have 24hrs to sign the GGG fight" it's on secondsout page on YouTube.

You don't have to take my opinion. Go on google and research LLDC and West Ham contract. I would rather read the facts myself than listen to a promoter who is trying to promote his fighter. Of course he is doing his job and am not saying he is lying on purpose but am telling you the facts, not because I read it but because I live in it as well. Not a lot of people are happy regarding us paying for a stadium that they basically rent to West Ham for free... All am saying is to stage a fight at that stadium Skysports would have to speak to the LLDC and sadiq Khan Not David Sullivan.
