It didn't take a year. According to the story they met with him last Sept. I have no idea how the BBBoC works but I knew it took them 2 years to suspend Tony Thompson. I've been waiting on Fury to deny there was an ongoing investigation. He hasn't so I'm starting to believe there is an investigation. He's denying he used steroids, which is expected

If its the same as the Thompson situation, they wait until all investigations and appeals are done before they release info.

By the sounds of this article the process is still ongoing, but obviously something has been leaked.

Its a dumb way of doing things as it leaves the door open for potential drug cheats to have a bunch more fights (with opponents completely oblivious to the situation) while still under investigation.

I think the Brit casuals had a late night last night with AJ finishing late, they'll be awaking around now to this news, I know a few who will be gutted and rightly so if these rumours are substantiated, I'm kinda disappointed for them too, they've had a win they've waited over a decade for to be possibly amended to a NC, this is not the first Fury fight which should have been ruled a NC, the USS fight should have been void too and I guess the Hammer and Chisora wins are now under the scope, right ?
