Malinaggi is doing a good job marketing this fight and making it seem like it is one of the best fights out there. At first, I hated this fight but after all the annoying mouthing off Paul has done, I just want to see him get KTFO. I still won't buy though because it's not even a good matchup. Cotto has fought greater opposition for free on HBO why Paul on PPV? This is just another of boxing's event where everyone is looking to cash in.
Paul vs. Cotto= overhyped fight of the year

Im suprised to find how much I am looking forward to this fight.
I have wanted to see Paulie step up for a while now.But I agree,
this should not be on PPV. -
Paulie is doing exactly what he planned to do, and that is give this fight some air of legitmacy. His trash talking makes all other non-italian or puerto ricans a little more interested in the fight than they probably were prior to his copious amounts of **** talking.
He doesn't have a long career anyway. His brittle hands have forced his managers to speed up his maturation process otherwise they would'nt have thrown him in with Cotto so early without seasoning him against other journeymen first.Comment

I have no idea who is going to buy this ppv to watch Cotto break down a guy round after round, against an opponent who only has 5 knockdowns meaning that Cotto is guaranteed not to get in trouble. This is like boxing after dark at most.Comment

It wasn't meant to be a PPV, but HBO gaved that date to GBP for the Tarver-Hopkins fight. Bob wants to do the fight the night b4 the PR day parade, so they HAD to make it a PPV. At least they will show 6 fights. And it will be cheaper than the Tarver-Hopkins fight. I'm going to buy it, cuz there wont be no replay (its not a HBO or Showtime fight) and I'll see the replay of Hopkins-Tarver the next week. Plus everyone knows I'm a Cotto fan.Comment
