Well, Andre Ward flat out ducked GGG and tried to fool people into thinking he wanted it, then was off with his fat ass that didn't fit into 168 any more to become a LHW, where he MIGHT face Kovalev. So Ward would rather face Kovalev than GGG, so he got that going on. Andre Ward wouldn't duck Junior, that's for sure.
You go on with your nonsense now, we're all entertained by it.
Must be someone's alt, the average person isn't this delusional.......

Let me guess... Floyd fan posting in Golovkin thread... again... and via a Ward vs Golovkin who's ducking who comment... see how it is??? You're laughable when you're not on point like now... otherwise I often respect your opinion.
I like pacquiao... like Floyd too... his boxing, not the baiting that made his fights sell more... he was given to much credit after he hurt his hand, though... not close to the old or rather young Floyd... I really wanted to see Pirog against Golovkin... I thought that was a win for Pirog...
The GGG man's resume is littered with those willing to fight him and those willing to duck him... don't like that? Tough... Ward is presently in the latter group... Presently... I suspect the fight will happen... I also suspect GGG will outshine anything Bernard did at MW and that will be his final resting place in boxing history, even if he goes up... I don't posit he's a superman or anything... but his chin, boxing ability and power combination is pretty convincing... say he's slow, but watch him land the jab time after time because the op has to be ready for power shots and the jab is quick enough and hard enough to establish what he does against anyone in his weight class. I look forward to him fighting Ramirez... I like to watch fights, not talk about bullslip like resumes, promotional value, A side B side... all nonsensical straw man/red herring material... watch the fights and quit the *****ing... I've been watching for over 60 years and I want to see more... I've never seen an internet pissing contest as interesting as a fight. I mean a good fight... There's so much going on here that's so sad and so obvious...

You can't duck a fighter who's in a different weight class. That's why I laugh when the usual jackasses say "Lil' Mark Ass Buster G ducked Ward doe!"

        Neither ducked the other.

At the same time, how would BJS be considered a fair opponent and Eubank not, when Eubank lost to BJS by SD in a fight that could've went either way.

What makes the short, slow footed, overrated power of Alvarez a better opponent? He's never even beaten a 160lber and intentionally looks to fight disadvantaged opponents like Khan.
I agree with that. Eubank has a chin (at list he claims he has) and is arrogant enough to not affraid of GGG.

Saunders has better amateur pedigree than Eubank b/c of how Eubank Sr shipped Jr off to the US at 18. As professionals, there's not a lot to separate the two. Both beat Blackwell & O'Sullivan, though they went the distance with BJS and Eubank brutally stopped them. BJS barely beat Ryder, where Eubank will likely destroy Doran. Then there's BJS ugly win over Lee and Eubank's dominant stoppage win over Chudinov.

When you look at their fight, it was Eubank's first big fight, a major step up in class, and he still lost by SD and could argue he won. He followed that by by dominating Chudinov, O'Sullivan, and Blackwell. I don't see how you can argue Saunders is that much better b/c he doesn't look it.

Stylistically alone, you have to favor Eubank over Saunders in a Golovkin fight. He has better power, stamina, and reach. BJS lack of power and iffy stamina spells outright doom vs Golovkin's pressure.
Again I have to agree with Eastcoast. Saunders won (SD) because he was more experienced and Eubank too arrogant. Still in later round Eubank looked better than BJS. I do think that Junior would win if they would fight again now.

                  Swatty,
That fella is well known here as a hater and troll. Doesn't worth reading and waisting time on him.

What is obvious, is that boxing is all about matchmaking..... and matchmaking is all about styles/risk/reward.

It is CLEARLY obvious that Golovkin is subject to the exact same risk/reward decisions as everybody else.

Golovkin ran around for FOUR YEARS saying that he can beat "anyone from 154-168"..... then, he killed TWO huge fights over the weight.

That is called, failing badly to live up to YOUR OWN hype.

                    the lie:
Golovkin Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154.....

                    the truth:
                    164 or No Fight.....
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to budge from his position that a potential fight with Andre Ward will only happen if Ward - the recognized champion at super middleweight - is wiling to meet them halfway at a catch-weight of 164-pounds. Golovkin and his team received more than their fair share of heat in recent days, after placing a catch-weight demand on a potential fight with Ward. The reason for the heat, is because Golovkin was willing to fight both Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the full super middleweight limit.

                    160 or no fight.....
                    http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...-not-ounce-160

If you are willing to fight Froch, Chavez, Degale, Jack, Hopkins, Chudinov, and Ramirez, AT 168..... but you are not willing to face Andre Ward at 168, then you ducked him..... plain and simple.

Again, not saying that Golovkin aint a terrific fighter, he is clearly the best middleweight on the planet..... all I am saying is, that Golovkin is OBVIOUSLY subject to the exact same risk/reward decisions as everybody else..... that is all.

You guys who would prefer to cut off one of your fingers rather than admit that simple fact..... are precious.

I highly doubt that a long-term boxing fan would see things like that..... long-term fans have a mature outlook on boxing because they have seen fighters come-and-go, they don't get invested like the young guys do.

Of course GGG should fight champs like bjs and Jacobs. But they don't want GGG immediately without big incentive like money.
Eubank would be best opponent outside these guys with belts. And if champs don't want GGG. And those champs don't want eubank, then GGG might have to fight eubank
