Against a 155lber who was on vacation and had no training camp. There's no glory in that. I'm all for fans celebrating great victories and I won't deny you guys the Aldo win but the Diaz loss was shameful. That fight was given to him on a platter and he couldn't hang.

That said... I still rate it higher than beating Dominic Wade so in that we agree.

Well he was suppose to fight a champion and there was an injury. To be fair he also had to train for a different person as well. Which one of those other guys beat a number 1 guy in their sport? Only Connor.

Not buying the first part as a good excuse but wet can agree to disagree. Diaz is no where near a #1 guy in his sport or even weight class and had a horrible run at 170, but Lawler did fight a legit #1 contender so we should be voting for him if anyone.
Also, if you're going to bring up Brand (lord knows why because it has nothing to do with this list) then bring up the fact that the man is fighting Kovalev in November.

Lawler beat a legit #1 contender but was he better than Aldo? No way. Not only did McGregor beat him but knocked him the fuck out. He backed up his talk on that fight. How many times do we see shit talkers talk and talk only to do the complete opposite on fight night?
