There is a risk that Canela Will suffer from severe dehydration in a fight soon, if he doesn't change this approach.
It can definitely backfire on him eventually. Will be curious to see what he does because after this, the top guys in the division are Andrade, Charlo bros and Lara. Not exactly easy fights especially if it's getting more and more difficult to boil off those pounds.

I have no doubt if Golovkin didn't exist Canelo would fight at 160 which is a natural weight class for him.

Doesn't seem like GGG has to go down for a big fight anymore with Eubanks Jr and Ramirez offers on the table. At some point he might have to say "*** CANELO" and move on. Sure Canelo is the biggest Payday for him but he has OPTIONS! If anything fans will hold it against Canelo the most if he never fights GGG, that will tarnish his legacy FOREVER!

Why would you support a 3 belt unification/mando at 155? That's the most de****able CW demand ever. And Canelo wouldn't even make that bluff, he gave up the belt just in case
What I saw is that Floyd BEAT Canelo.

What I saw is that the only payday anywhere near what lil g would have gotten vs Floyd is what he would have gotten vs Canelo.

What I saw is it HAD TO BE ONE OF TWO THINGS.

Either they thought they had leverage on Canelo to force a fight or they didn't want to do what they had to KNOW they needed to do to make the fight.

Canelo is going to make the same money with or without Golovkin.

It is lil g that needed that fight more.

I don't know what youre talking about. Apparently GBP didn't try negotiating anything, they gave up the belt and admitted they're not ready.

And again, Floyd is much smaller than Canelo, much bigger star, much more credible so he gets the full weight concession. Disgraced lineal MW champ Canelo can probably get 157 whenever he wants it

            +1
Weightdraining or Golovkin? GBP has chosen the drained route. It will be interesting to see the next weighin. Will Canela look as exhausted as he did against Floyd where he had to sit down?

No becuase he wanted to have as much of an advantage over khan as he could have. His *****ass could have made the fight at 154 but he just didnt want to

                • Yes , because boiling down and then starving yourself to make 154 is natural.
