IMO bernard does !
Just because winky is a veteran who has been in there with the tougher opposition and had to fight all over the world with the crowd , judges , etc. against him. And I just think that at this part of jermaine's career he's not skilled enough to penetrate winky's great defense. I'm not saying that jermaine has no shot, just that I would think Bernard would be better suited to fight the kinda fight it would take to beat wright. Emmanuel Steward said he feels that winky's losses were controverstial and he feels he's never been "beaten".To jermaines credit he showed great heart in the Hopkins bouts and found away to be more aggressive and pull out the decisions. It shows charachter and heart against a legend like Bernard. I agree they weren't the most exciting but bernard didn't have his dominant reign by accident so I feel for a younger fighter ppl don;t give Taylor enough credit for beating a extremely difficult fighter. -
If the question is would Hopkins do better than Taylor in a fight v Winky the answers "NO", Hopkins ant the smae boxer he once was,Most ppl seen tht in the two Taylor fights (more the 2nd) Taylor had his number all nite the old Hopkins lackd intensity and focus in them fights and i could see that Hopkins just don't have the hunger for boxing anymore, I see Tarver beating Hopkins over 12 rounds also, Taylors a young skilful champion and Taylors got one off the best left jabs ive seen in the middleweight div in years i think Taylor can still do danage to winky, winkys defence is awesome but its not made off rock, i see this fight v even not even sure about the ODDs for this bout but u gotta remember Taylors going in as the champion rememeber tht!.Comment
