Oh, please... another nobody coming to collect a paycheck... Canelo won't lose until he fights GGG because he's the biggest draw in boxing today... Boxing has become so predictable nowadays.... All the major players Canelo, Ward, GGG, Garcia OMG, fighting bums until they they have their corresponding superfight... Boxing nowadays is more business than anything else... that's why I haven't bought a PPV in years.... Mediocre and overrated boxers for the most part, being protected by promoters until their corresponding megafight... The worst era in boxing hands down

I'm not giving Smith a chance personally. He's been cut before, in trouble before, never fought anyone remotely on Canelos level and despite his nickname, Liam is a pretty small, frail dude. Once they get into the ring, it's gonna look like a linebacker vs. a kicker.

It would be hilarious if Smith absolutely smashes Canelo.

I don't think Canelo is anything special anyway, but i'm not sure Liam Smith is quite on that level, even though i do like him.

I don't get it. Make Canelo come to you. Make him beg. Liam can fight somebody else, nobody would complain too much. Who is Canelo going to fight? The low hanging fruit is about gone. Liam is doing Canelo a favor, giving him a title shot. Liam can get millions and home field. More millions at home, if you think about it.
