Do even realize that testing negative earlier this year and then testing positive, suggests that the banned substance entered Povetkin's system after the previous negative tests? Also, both camps and the WBC were notified by VADA that Povetkin had failed a drug test. That is not speculation, that is a fact. Wilder's decision was based on that fact. That is not defamation nor fantasy. Furthermore, Povetkin had the right to have his B sample tested, which he did, and that also came up positive. A positive "A" and "B" sample equals failure and "Adverse".Comment

Did you even read what you pasted bruh?
We know he tested for meldonium but it was 1 test in between two clean results and the detection was so small it was withint he margin of error and legal under WADA guidelines.
Meldonium was recently banned and stays in the blood for months so lots of athletes are having microtraces detected. Povetkin was well, well within exemption thresholds.
It was not 1 test. Both Povetkin's "A" and "B" samples tested positive for Meldonium.Comment

I think both sides are ******ed here. Wilder is trying to get paid for a fight that didn't happen. Cueller can't sue Mares and the promoter for his purse cuz Mares flunked the eye test. That's basically what's happening here.
And Ryabinsky is being silly cuz VADA and the WBC guy are saying there is a problem so what's the issue with Wilder speaking about the problem these higher pay grade on PED guys are saying.Comment

Strange part is, he tested clean at first but then tested positive after for 1 microgram of meldonium. Do you know how much 1 microgram is? Its 1/1,000,000th of a gram!
It was so low that the first test probably didn't pick it up. I say that because it would be impossible to take such a low dose.Comment

Wada said in its briefing document that doping cases should be pursued in the case of athletes who admit having taken meldonium on or after 1 January, in cases where the concentration of the drug is above 15 micrograms per millilitre, or where the concentration is between 1 and 15 millilitres and the test was after 1 March.
The organisation said prosecution of meldonium cases could be “stayed” and provisional suspensions lifted if the concentration of the drug in the system was between 1 and 15 micrograms per millilitre and the test was carried out before 1st March, or if the level is below 1 microgram per millilitre and the doping control was conducted after 1st March.Wada has given a potential lifeline to athletes who have tested positive for meldonium after admitting it is not clear how long it takes the drug to leave the body
Povetkin tested positive after March 1st, and it was supposedly under 1 microgram according to his promoter.
VADA and the WBC is are not WADA signatories or claims to necessarily follow WADA code though, so there might be jurisdictional issues.Comment

The traces found can be explained, they are just chosen to be overlooked.Comment
