realistically speaking, what's schaefer's plan/goal with his new ringstar promotions?

keep in mind he's very close with floyd on a personal level, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's much closer to al haymon on a personal and business level. he and haymon operate at a very high level, both are extremely well educated and constantly handle large sums of money, but floyd isn't, and they both know this.

but how is yet another boxing promotional company beneficial to the PBC series? haymon already works with sham promoters to make his shows. but more recently he's been helping floyd out with mayweather promotions promoting shows. so now with starlight promotions, isn't that direct competition to mayweather promotions, as well as all of the other promoters that haymon has worked with on PBC shows?

He will work closely with Haymon. I don't like Oscar but Schaefer is a real back stabber. Oscar was his long time close friend and completely trusted him. Schaefer was working with Haymon while he was a part owner of Golden Boy and the most important and powerful guy there next to Oscar. To go behind Oscar's back and work with the competition while still part owner and in power at Golden boy is about as scummy as possible. Schaefer is good at his job and will probably make lots of money working with Haymon and others. As a person he is a totally untrustworthy piece of ****. If he had quit Golden Boy first and then worked with Haymon that would have been morally correct and OK. He didn't do things that way.
