As the WBC previously reported, it granted WBC Heavyweight World Champion Deontay Wilder a voluntary defense while continuing to thoroughly weigh and gauge all related scientific and medical factors.

WBC promised a ruling by the end of this month. Guess that won't happen now.

What's to investigate? If what I read is correct both of his A and B samples show unacceptable limits of a banned substance.

              Exactly

They should keep Povetkin on the sidelines until all the benefits he got from doping wear off.

Give his dirty as.s 2 years like Tennis did Sharpova.

PEDvetlkin cheated just ban the commie SOB now.

Screw that commie drug taking cheating PEDvetkin that shell of a man with zero character or dignity. Ban that SOB from boxing and a title fight with Wilder. Bring some dignity back to boxing and ban the cheaters forever.

Meldonium only became against the rules this year, and Povetkin's team argued that their use of it was only before that point. I assume the investigation seeks to determine whether or not that is the case.

But wasn't the argument that he had passed some previous tests before failing the more recent ones?

Seems like if that's actually the case, it's pretty cut and dry.
