  • Comments Thread For: Dillian Whyte Now To Face Ivica Bacurin on Joshua-Breazeale

Maybe the third time is the charm for Dillian Whyte (16-1, 13KOs), who once again has a new opponent in place for Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London. On Monday, it was reported that Whyte was going to take on veteran Danny Batchelder (31-11-1, 15KOs) as part of the undercard to the Anthony Joshua vs. Dominic Breazeale Sky Sports Pay-Per-View.

Another meaningless mismatch featuring a "name" to beef up what is a truly diabolical PPV. The casuals will eat it up, though. Hearn feeds these imbeciles crap and they eat it like candy.

A staggering name to add to a stellar resume. Whyte truly is carving out a name for himself.

Shocking PPV card. More fool the matchroom/joshua casuals for buying this ****.

And what about us guys that have been hardcore boxing fans since 1996 and like Anthony Joshua? Are we casuals too?

It's 2016. There aren't many good boxing events yet. We gotta take what we can get when it comes to the boxers we like. Especially people like me... living in Australia. We rarely get the good events and when we do we have to pay up to $60 for them. The fact that Joshua v Breazele and Thurman v Porter are free makes me ****ing ecstatic.

I like Joshua though. I'm not a super fan and part of me gets why you call his fans casuals... he's almost becoming a modern day Tyson. Unlike a lot of his ****riders I see his flaws. He has no head movement, plods a bit too much, has some stamina issues and hasn't faced a decent name yet. But I still like him. I still feel like he has enough to light out anyone in the division but has enough weakness to get beat by the top dogs too... it's intriguing.

Unlike a lot here, I actually rate Parker higher. I feel like Parker has more grunt and we've seen him handle a top opponent and have some struggle thrown his way and he showed heart out the wazoo. I also see Parker having a better chin than AJ and I think in the longrun that will be a big difference at HW.

I edited the post because I realise it sounded a bit snarky and knew I'd get that response haha.

It's a good post mate. I know that many boxing fans are fans of AJ. I am, but i dislike the hype surrounding him. There's a lad on here claiming that he's better than Lennox Lewis lol.

Let's see him face and beat a top 10 opponent before anointing him the savior of boxing.

Jesus Christ. That's shocking, he hasn't even faced someone on the level of Duhapas/Stiverne yet and they're borderline 'decent' boxers.

Prime Lewis would be close to top 10 Head 2 Head ATG's in my opinion.
