Comments Thread For: Barrera To Jean Pascal: Stop Ducking Me, We Both Need a Win

Former Cuban amateur standout Sullivan Barrera (17-1 12 KOs) is training hard with new trainer Derik Santos. The Florida-based duo have gelled and can't wait to show off the new and improved Barrera in the very near future.

I knew they're planning the fight after I've checked Barrera twitter. He tweeted something about that a long time ago after that Ward fight. I think Barrera has a lot of potential (solid amateur background and he looked way better against Ward than Froch or Dawson) so I'd like to see him defeating Pascal who needs to retire from boxing anyway

At least Barrera knows where the money is. It's in the Montreal arena where Pascal is the locals' favorite.

Stevenson can't even mention Pascal's name. Same Stevenson who purport to want huge money fights, yet can't fight Pascal in Montreal, Quebec where they both live. Quackenson is a huge disappointment among Montreal fans.

BTW... same guy who couldn't fight Beterbiev in Canada for the IBF mando spot due to some obscure visa problems... He should clean his stuff before acting big on the internet...

IDK maybe he fixed his visa problems now? Either way I think that Pascal still has enough to KO this guy

Not a bad fight. I'd pick Pascal.
