Vargas would be a nice addition to Brook's resume. Then hopefully he'll gun for some of the other WW champs...hopefully.

I think Brook needs to beat him in good fashion to get the hype back again.

Don't get me wrong, any win over Vargas is good but if he wants to establish himself as the best WW, then to start with i think he needs this win to look spectacular.

Brook should unify all four after the WBA/WBC unify.

Vargas can scrap, and he's pretty underrated, but he's not A-level. Brook still has the potential to be A-level.

Still.. Vargas struggled with Khabib, Novikov, & Demarco.
Brook struggled with Senchenko and Jones.

        Neither guy is all-that.

This is the level of opponent Kell Brook should be fighting. An impressive victory here will excuse him for the poor opposition since he won the IBF title. Having said that, he must follow up a victory here by chasing the more competitive fights. No excuses, this could be the beginnings of establishing himself as one of the best in the sport. America beckons?

If Vargas moves around and puts even more work rate like he did against Khabib, Vargas will beat Brook, and impose that partial Cuban style he has learned. If he doesn't I see Brook winning many rounds, like 8-4, or worse, 9-3. Vargas has an accurate punchers chance if landed, but those are at a whim.

Kell is what 35, 40? He's hiding in Sheffield for a reason. He's a boxing hermit, the old man on the mountain. Ambushing and way laying.

You have to GO GET Kell Brook, put the pressure on him. I always go back to the first Carson Jones fight in which Jones gave him serious problems because Jones came forward

Somebody has a Gif on this forum with showing Jones catching Brook repeatedly. That being said, I do think Kell has improved since that fight as seen vs Porter

Absolutely Vargas has a chance but he is going to have to FIGHT Kell Brook because out-boxing him won't get him a victory in Sheffield

Vargas is garbage, he lost every single round to Bradley bar that one punch in the 12th. Brook should have an easy night hence why Hearn made this fight.

Brook has been fighting cans for 2 years now, that's a long time to let your game slip. Vargas is a good enough boxer to mess with Brook and I think his power has improved and will be enough to hurt Brook.

Brook does well early but Vargas turns the tide after a few and stuns Brook with something.
